There are regular taxis and tourist taxis which operate from the Sharm El Sheikh Airport.The tourist taxis often charge double fares and passengers may be required to bargain with the drivers before departure as the driver may assume tourists are unaware of the correct taxi rate, which should be around 40 Egyptian pounds to the city centre.
