Rooms: The 40 detached bungalows overlook well tended tropical grounds. They are airconditioned, spacious, simply furnished and have a large terrace, twin beds and a private shower and wc. There is also a 13-amp power point and a safe, for which a charge is made. The bungalows have the added attraction of a small, separate lounge area. Please note: It is possible to accommodate a third person in a standard twin room.
Food & Drink: A small open-air restaurant overlooking the lagoon offers varied hot and cold buffet style meals at breakfast and lunch. Dinner will be served from either a buffet or table d'hote menu in an intimate, open-air restaurant which overlooks the pool. For that special occasion, a separate à la carte menu specialises in local seafood dishes at very reasonable prices. Refreshing drinks are available throughout the day from the 'Dhow' bar which has stunning views over the beach and lagoon beyond.
Facilities and Entertainment: The unique location of the hotel on Kilifi lagoon means that it benefits year-round from perfect conditions for windsurfing and canoeing, both of which are free of charge. Scuba diving and snorkelling equipment are also available to hire at the hotel. For the less energetic, simply soak up the atmosphere of Kenya by relaxing on a sun bed, which are free to guests, around the swimming pool which overlooks the hotel's small beach.
