HURRICANES AND TROPICAL STORMS

The Caribbean and Mexico are occasionally affected by tropical storms and hurricanes between June and November. Such storms can blow up quickly and it is impossible to predict their path or duration more than three to four days in advance, often less. South East Asia may be affected by a Monsoon season, typically between May and September.
